How do we find your Vehicle?
- Our Client approaches us to find a vehicle from the
vast selection accessible to dealers in Japan. The selection may be from
the dozens of Auctions run everyday or may be a vehicle from a Japanese
car dealer.
- Finders Fee of $100.00 is paid by the
Client (refundable if vehicle purchased)
- Auckland Car Imports Ltd (ACI Ltd) finds the required
vehicle. (This may take between 2 days and 2 weeks depending on the
vehicles being offered for sale at the time)
- ACI Ltd informs the Client by email of
the selection available and the drive-away purchase price
- Client replies by 2pm on the day of the auction with
their approval for ACI Ltd to bid for the selected vehicle
- If the bid is successful the vehicle is
shipped to our base workshop in Kyoto for a full body and mechanical
survey
- Should the vehicle not be at the Grade earlier informed
and is downgraded by one full point i.e. from Grade 4 to Grade 3 , the
Client is under no obligation to purchase the vehicle and may cancel the
Contract at this stage
- Once the survey is completed and the
Grade confirmed a copy is supplied to the Client
- The purchase price is agreed and shall be paid by the
Client's Bank by Letter of Credit before
the vehicle is shipped to NZ
- Shipping and Compliance tests
take an average of 4-5 weeks from purchase to delivery of vehicle. Any
remedial work required to the vehicle is undertaken at this time before
final delivery to the Client so that the vehicle is in as “near as
perfect” condition as can be. Any costs associated with
remedial work are paid by the Client except servicing and on-road costs
which are included in the purchase price.
- Client's Bank credits funds to ACI
account upon delivery of the vehicle
- ACI delivers your new vehicle fully
serviced, groomed, registered, and with a full tank of petrol ready to
